A treasury, highly recommended especially for public library collections.

Eight-year-old anthropomorphic aardvark Arthur Read and his friends confront the joys and difficulties of everyday life, from issues that arise out of keeping secrets to the experience of going to the hospital. Special features included closed captions for the hearing impaired, described video for the visually impaired, and downloadable teaching materials including the "Let's Read!" activity booklet for families, in English and in Spanish. The cheery, simple animated style combined with a matter-of-fact presentation that never patronizes children makes Arthur Season 10 a treasury, highly recommended especially for public library collections. 4.5 hours, color.

Great Show!
This is a great collection of shows from the 10 year anniversary season. My 4 year old goes absolutely nuts over this show. My 13 year old even watches it with her but won't admit that she still likes it - yet somehow whenever it comes on she seems to end up in the room. Hmmmm, coincidence? I think not. The Incredible Hulk: The Complete Series

It's great to have all the episodes, but a few things are missing...


This is unbelievable and probably one of the best "gifts" I ever bought, seriously....
My 6 year old son had been talking about the Hulk for several months, he plays with Hulk games as well as the on-line game. I remember telling him about the television show and how I used to watch this show every week when I was growing up.

Well a few days before Christmas this year I decided to search for the Hulk television show in the hopes that I might be able to buy the entire series. I had no idea if it was even available and it was. When I factor in the hours and hours of entertainment that this gift has brought this is an amazing deal. I figured if my son, wife and 4 year old daughter didn't watch it, I would. Well as soon as the Hulk arrived and I put on the first episode EVERYONE was glued to the tv. My wife, who never saw the original tv show and a person I did not think would be into this said, "I love it, this is really a very well done show".

We are taking our time watching the series and watch about 3 episodes a week. We are now up to the...

great content, packaging could be better designed
I just received The Incredible Hulk: The Complete Series. I watched the pilot so far, and the video looks great considering how long ago the show was on television. It looks just about as good as you can get TV content to look on DVD. The DVD menus are well done.

With regard to the content of the series, I assume most are buying the whole series because they are fans of the series.

For those who aren't fans (plot spoiler of the pilot here, though), but are of the movies, the show was and is now on DVD a much deeper story than any TV or big screen adaptation of the comic character The HULK. You have a story starting with Banner having a dream which shifts to a nightmare. First, he is having a dream of good times with the love of his life, but it turns to a nightmare when it shows the car accident that actually happened. Aliens and the Old West [HD]

Bottom of the Barrel Theories:
After season 1, I wondered how much more material could be presented to continue these fascinating episodes. Season 2 was incredible, it gave new life for a fresh and hopefully long-running series. Unfortunately, it seems that the well is running dry as Season 3 lacks the attention-grabbing information. The quality of the material being presented has declined.

The first episode: "Aliens and the Old West" featured too much of the newly released film "Cowboys and Aliens", but did offer some interesting viewpoints. Nearly every episode that followed seemed to re-hash the same subjects of religion, spirituality, gods, and ancient traditions of man.

Many scenes elaborate on the mysteries of our past and speculate in which manner these events are interpreted, but do not offer relative connections between these events and tangible extraterrestrial theory. The show seems to be straying away from solid theories & evidence and is moving more towards superstition,...

Amusing Speculation, But The Premises Of The 16 Individual Shows Is Decidedly Hit Or Miss In The Third Season
I know the History Channel has faced a lot of criticism recently as their viewing schedule has veered away from classic historical content to shows with more entertainment pizzazz. To my mind, "Ancient Aliens" seemed the perfect program to bridge the gap. Tales of mysterious and unexplained phenomenon, folklore and legend, and intergalactic speculation cross all international boundaries and are an inherent part of ancient history and cultural iconography. And as this documentary series began in its first season, it did a good job acknowledging the various interpretations of alien myths across the globe. However, the more we progress--the theories and/or premises behind the show have become a little thinner, a little more hit or miss. I suppose that was to be expected as the program has already delved into the biggest, most well known, and most supported mysteries in earlier seasons. Thus, Season Three (while always entertaining) had its equal share of fascinating speculation...

3rd Season In The Books & Still Impressive.
It's not everyday you'll see tv shows like this that deliver great visuals from around the world along with some very interesting information. Ancient Aliens has opened up many doorways as to where our origins might be, and it's up to the viewer to either run with these possibilities or not. Most of these famous sites from this series will probably never get fully explained but one thing is for sure, we are not alone. Below, I have provided some imformation of my own for those who are interested.

Bob's Burgers: The Complete First Season

Wonderful show - doesn't assault your sense of decency like so many other comedies these days
I must admit, I strongly disliked the first episode. I turned it off twice on Hulu before finally finishing it. I just barely convinced myself to watch the second episode, and... it was inspired. Bob pretends to be stuck in the walls of his house to escape his family, and slowly goes insane (mostly because he has nowhere to poop). Consistently original and very funny. And most subsequent episodes were equally quaint and amusing.

Over time I realized there were a few fundamental reasons I liked this series more than a lot of other comedy shows around, especially Seth MacFarlane's.

#1: The family is nice to each other, despite how kooky they all are. They are supportive, and clearly accept one other implicitly. That to me is a breath of fresh air in today's comedic landscape. A year or two ago I gave up on Family Guy (after the episode where Quagmire insinuated he would have sex with his daughter once she turned 18) because I was just fatigued by the constant...

Brilliant & Quirky Animation Series on Fox
Bob's Burgers in one of those shows not everyone is going to love. But, this quirky little show always makes me chuckle.
This show really is a standout among the other shows in Fox's Sunday night animation line up. The animation isn't pristine, but that really adds to the charm of the show. What really stands out here are the wonderful character's voices. I'm so glad that Fox has picked it up for a second season. Hopefully it will find a following and will stick around for awhile.

I love the whole enchilada about this series and I look forward to reading the blackboard specials that always have a movie based theme. I feel this one smacks abit like Dr. Katz but without the wiggles, and thats a good thing- I love the humor

Stick Together

Corny to me, but the one-year-old? She's IN LOVE!
Yes, I know. I'm a big tv & book snob. We home school and eschew many things in pop culture. So if you try to tell me that this show is not good enough you are preaching to the chior. It's corny. And silly. And sickeningly sweet. And unrealistic. And I could go on, but think about it. People talk baby talk to little ones all the time and that's corny, silly, sickeningly sweet and unrealistic. We do it because we think they are cute & also because they respond to simple, animated, happy interaction. The producers of this show understand that. This is the only show my one-year-old loves. She has been hooked since about 9 months. As much as I hate to admit it, it grew on me and my husband. Our 13-yr.old rolls his eyes & bangs his head against the wall when it comes on, but even he can't deny how adorable it is to see the huge grin on her face & the little diapered bob & sway this show always elicits.

Great Show
Really people? The show is made for kids not for adults. Do they care about whether or not the actors are changing their clothes? Are they concerned about production value or the acting quality? And frankly, I find it more entertaining than Yo Gabba Gabba which I find completely creepy. My son LOVES the music. It gets him moving and that's really all I care about. This show is really the only one he reacts to when it's on. I hope they keep creating new episodes! :-)

Kids Love it
I have to admit I was not a fan at first. But then my 4 year old started singing and dancing along and I'm hooked. And so is my 1 year old. As soon as the opening song comes on my 1 year old drops what she is doing and runs (yes runs) over to the TV. She bounces her little butt and laughs. For those who are putting this show down...as a lot of others have said...this is for kids not you. And I may not be a trained and professional musician or dancer but I think they are very talented (Kiki, the one in pink is trained in Opera by the way and has been playing violin since she was 3 for all you snobby people who say they have no talent). It is wholesome, teaches working together, and gets kids into music and dancing. In my opinion, one of the better shows out there. I highly recommend!

John Luke After Dentist

I needed a little more Happy Happy Happy
I kept seeing Duck Dynasty in the news but really didn't know what it was all about, so I decided to watch a free episode on A&E. I'm really impressed, so impressed that I have now watched every episode from the beginning of season 1 to the most recent. The Robertson family is genuine, funny, successful and above all they are a Christian family not afraid to show their faith to the world. Research a little deeper than the show and you will find that they are actively living out the Great Commission, spreading the gospel and baptizing new Christians in the river near their house and this was even before the TV programs made them popular.
I very much recommend this to anyone that wants to laugh, needs a lift, needs to see that its okay to stand for your faith and still have a really good time or just wants to watch a program that isn't full of debauchery or disfunction.
Robertson family, I wish you many more years of influence on America.
Season 4 promises to be another...

Hilarious FAMILY show
Not only is this show hilarious as it follows a family of self-proclaimed redneck millionaires, it is safe for the whole family. The family became millionaires by inventing a duck call but that hasn't stopped them from eating squirrel or spending most of their time in the woods. They are a close knit family with a quirky uncle. It's really funny, and I love that I can watch it without worry about my kids being in the room. It is the clean family show we've all been waiting for!

The Soul of Genius [HD]

Somewhat butchered
Check the Internet Movie Database where these episodes are listed as lasting 120 minutes. PBS has chopped them down to 90 minutes although some sources claim ONLY 10 minutes has been hacked off. It was particularly noticeable in Fearful Symmetries where the episode seemed so badly edited that it was at that point that I decided to see if it had originally been longer. Yes, it had. It is a pity that the original is not available. Very disappointing. Amazon Prime only gives the 90-minute version. PBS and Amazon both ought to do better.

Clarification of UK vs. USA releases of "Inspector Lewis"
There is a serious lack of clarity in the first three reviews of the "Inspector Lewis" series.

I own the Series One through Four of the UK versions, released by ITV Studios, [...].

These are not the episodes in Series Five of the USA release, as described in the Amazon editorial comment.

PBS Inspector Lewis, season 5
This is the American blu ray of season 5 of Inspector Lewis by PBS. The numbering for the British and American releases of Inspector Lewis series are numbered differently. If you see the PBS on the DVD or the Blu Ray, you have the American version.

I have all of the Inspector Lewis and Inspector Morse sets, which are an outstanding series.

The PAL DVD set is always cheaper than the American DVD, and sometimes a better picture. The American blu ray is better than the British Blu Ray, by a little bit. The British Blu Ray is usually close in price, unless there is a price cut, then British Blu Ray is usually will cost less until the American blu ray does the same price cut.

I agree with most people, we do pay more for our DVD sets(American) than British DVD. It does pay to have a region free DVD player.

I will be buying this new blu ray set, season 5 of Inspector Lewis by PBS when the price decreases.

Made in Staten Island [HD]

DVD quality is suspect!!!!
I love the show MobWives but was very disappointed after spending $41.00 on this disc set. I question the disc quality despite being sealed. Are these discs knock-offs??
The first 2 discs were scratched upon opening--lost about 10 minutes of video on each disc due to skipping from the scratches!! Terrible quality!! And why does the volume on the discs go up and down? I have never purchased such poorly made DVDs!!
Amazon should be responsible but lo and behold--when we log in they have no record of the purchase. Shame on VH1 for selling such crappily made discs through a questionable site like Amazon! So disappointed! It's enough to turn me off of the series altogether.

Inferior Disc Quality
I LOVE this show, and was so excited to get this for Christmas. Small disappointments, as others have mentioned, is it is not totally unsensored. Also, my favorite song, Big Big Bang, is NOT the theme on these.

Now the MAJOR issue...My husband and I watched ONCE after receiving (handled only by him), and when I brought them out last night to watch again, was horrified to find they now skip and drag. The DVD player made a loud whining noise throughout the entire disk(s). The sound does fluctuate, but it is slight. Keep in mind, my kids have a few movies of their own, that are incredibly scratched, yet still manage to play fine with absolutely no issues. There should not be any problems with brand new DVD's. I told my husband, who flipped the disk over to take a look, and discovered a lot of little fine scratch lines. The underside is also a blue color, which none of my other (over 300 DVD's, including boxed sets) have. He then proclaimed they are made on cheap quality disks...

Poor quality
Ordered twice and both copies the audio and video didn't sync. It was worse than an old Japanese Godzilla movie.

"Blood Brothers" Part 1 (of 4) [HD]

Powerful and Epic
I found the artwork and animation to be the most powerful piece of this series. The 'stop motion' is what captivated my attention to a scornful glance, tilt of the hand, or pose full of such rage and hatred that left me eagerly anticipating what I would notice first in the next scene. I found the style a little reminiscent of what Frank Frazetta would have come up with if he delved back into animation. The scenery had enough artistic impact that I had to take a few screenshots to use as desktop backgrounds.

If anyone is coming here because of the Avengers movie, be forewarned this is not the devilishly handsome, honey-voiced, Tom Hiddleston Loki (though there were quite a few scenes in here that I couldn't help but imagine how Tom would have said it). This is more what I expected from Loki of the norse myths. This was an older, more experienced, more paranoid, and more eloquent Loki. His musings and confrontations were wonderfully acted by David Blair.

If you're looking for an action packed story, you may be disappointed. However, if you want to peer deep into the psyche of the God of Mischief, then you'll love this. A sad ending that makes you wonder "what if? "

Loved it!
I found the animation to be somewhat strange and awesome at the same time and I loved the way the story line progressed throughout the episodes incorporating a view from a different angle on the whole mythology of Loki vs Thor. Give it a chance, you might love it like I did.

My Daughter Loves Gabba
It's Yo Gabba Gabba! If you're a parent, then you know this is awesome stuff for kids. My daughter loves every episode and I dig the beats with Biz, cool music acts, and famous people doing cameos. It's an awesome show and gets kids moving. I actually am just as entertained by the cool animations and musical trips that the show goes through as my daughter. The first 3 seasons are jamming even more than the fourth season though.

Babies love this.
My 2 year old twins love yo gabba gabba. They love to sing along with the characters and interact with the games and such.

Too Cute! Kittens [HD]

Best Way To End The Day
I've often referred to 'Too Cute' as "brain bleach" - no matter what has happened that day, no matter how bad things are, you can put on 'Too Cute' and forget all of it. Love, life, humor and of course a ton of cute. Consider it a legal mood enhancer with no side effects (other than wanting a puppy/kitten.)

My wife and I have been lovin this series since the first episode, and are glad to have it 'on demand' now. There is just enough narration. After all, the critters are the stars of the show. Its a great way to see the creator's genius in the subtleties of personality, and how everything is based on love. This series should be part of every kid's early learning experience, appreciating and respecting animals as more than just playthings. My one complaint is that I can't copy the files to DVD to play on our TV. In order to watch them out there, I'm going to have to install a video card that has a HDMI output in the computer and run 25 feet of cable to our TV in the living room. Definitely worth it though.

A Guy Walks into a Bar [HD]

It is worth watching.
I saw it had 3 reviews. 2 of them 1 star. 1 of them 5 star.

Well after watching, It is 5 star. If you read the book "la noir" or played the video game based on it, it is the same classic humor. Great acting, lots of fun to watch.

I'm intrigued
Yes, this is fiction, an artistic interpretation of organized crime in LA in the 40's. If you don't need historical accuracy in your mob story, this show has great visuals, standout acting (notably Simon Pegg as an American loser comic, though he's just a guest star, and Robert Knepper as killer Sid Rothman) and fantastic music by Mark Isham. But the real star is the dialogue. Sure, the storyline is about as contrived as a Hollywood subway, but the scripts are perfectly hard-boiled and it's a gas just watching the characters dance around each other with candy in one hand and a gun in the other. Jon Bernthal's Joe Teague is the perfect antihero cop straddling the line, a palooka with an agenda, and I'll keep watching just to find out what that is. I just wish the shooting victims didn't all do the slow-motion spazz-out.

edit: So, this was meant to be a review of the show in general, after watching 3 episodes, not just this preview episode.

Rubicon: Intelligent New Series
I stumbled across the link to this free Rubicon pilot episode from an Amazon ad. I tried to get a sense of what the show was about by checking the usual websites, but found nothing. Thought I'd watch the first 10 minutes or so, but got caught up and watched the entire episode.

First of all, the acting in the pilot is top notch. Could not find fault with any of the performances. The ensemble of characters is well varied. It is clear how the main characters fit into the story, but I assume that how the supporting characters will be used will be developed during the season.

The subject matter, a powerful, secret society devoted to progressing their agenda while maintaining their anonymity, is pretty heavy stuff. Appropriately, the fear and dread can be felt throughout the pilot. James Badge Dale plays Will Travers, the protagonist. He does a great job getting the audience to care about Travers, the tragedy in his life and frankly, his safety.

Amazing - AMC decision was highly disappointing
Rubicon was the ONLY show I've ever watched that I didn't wait for it to record on DVR. Being on disability I watch quite a lot of television. And this is by far my favorite ... all time. It is that amazing. Every episode pulls you in and makes you think.
I found it a meld of British drama (with American accents) and All the President Men. I'm not a conspiracy theory buff but the characters really drew me in.
You have Will who is the lead - a widowed, tortured yet brilliant analysts for the US government.
The other three people on his team are perfectly balanced, the humorous Miles, Grant the kiss up and Tanya the new girl.
The layers to the show are complex and very well written. I also read quite a bit so I'm pretty critical of poor writing and this show has it nailed.
I guess you've figured out by now that I LOVE this show. :)
I highly suggest it to anyone who likes cerebral or political or mystery or conspiracy. Rubicon fits all those bills.

The Gang Squashes Their Beefs

Always Sunny is Always Great!
The funniest (and hardest working) gang on television is back for season 9 and better than ever. Five stars for Sunny: one of the best television shows ever!

Seasoned vets now, they've all relaxed into their characters. In the first episode of season 9, the gang returns to that great bit where Sweet Dee gags during a standpoint routine. It is always a good sign when Dee is at the center of an episode, because Kaitlin Olson is one of the most talented performers currently on television. In this episode, she gets back on stage and its freaking hilarious. The boys don't do much in this episode, but I'm sure they'll be as excellent this season as they have in all the others. Danny Devito's "Frank" brings a new meaning to the disgusting animal. Who can forget the episode where he crawls out of that leather couch naked and covered in oil? Rob McElhenney's "Mac" is also a total original: he wears a duster and does karate, what else can you say? The charisma of Charlie...

Kill the ads!
I don't wanna be that guy giving a negative review for something mostly unrelated to the product (hence the five stars), but Fox needs to back off with the ads. There are ads at the beginning and the end of the episode for other Fox shows. I'll be honest this is probably the least intrusive way to put ads in but I didn't buy the episode so I could watch promos for something else.

The show itself is great, yes it's lost the impact of the first couple seasons, but its unfair to judge it like that. When the show first aired there was nothing else like it, by season 9 its just not possible to do that anymore.

Funniest Show on Television
I am amazed "Sunny" has continued such an amazing run for nine years. Some people have criticized one season or another but I think they are all brilliant. I am not a typical viewer. I'm a 67 year old retired woman and I have watched the entire series twice and am still laughing. The only other show comparable in my opinion is England's "Peep Show."

What can you say about a brilliant chef, writer and seeker of life for ratings. Anthony shows us a non-typical view of 'chefdom". His way of connecting life moments, capturing the real story, connecting people's of all stations in life by the most historic way of people coming together - eating, is unparalleled. His writing style, edgy and un-sanctimonious provides a real world adventure you want to join him on. I applaud his cast-iron stomach to boot. I owned a restaurant for a year - the longest time of my life. I give praise to anyone who hangs in there that long , and turns it into a PASSION in unbelievable action.

Walk-ins Welcome to Watch
The man can be snarky, funny, charming at times, but above all else, he's entertaining. Plus, the food is always the star of the show.

Air Part 1 [HD]

Beyond the Edge
Watching the first episode of this show, I was groaning constantly. It seemed that someone had sat down and decided to merge two of the most popular science fiction shows of the decade (LOST and BATTLESTAR GALACTICA) into one expensive-looking series. I mean, it had all the cliches. You've got the pretty girl who pretty much has the words "love triangle" tattooed across her forehead, the awkward boy genius, the Adama-like commander, the Baltar-like scientist, and a goal of returning to Earth from someplace far away.

Oh, and there were flashbacks. Sure, the action was cool, but it mostly looked like the visual effects artists of BSG had found new jobs.

I worked my way past the two part pilot and into what the main concept of the series would be. You have an Ancient ship called "Destiny" flying somewhere in another galaxy, and a group of soldiers and civilians are effectively trapped aboard it. They have very little knowledge of what makes the ship tick or what its...

Slow space drama, not what I expected from Stargate.
Let me begin to say that if you are a fan of the other two Stargate series and expect action adventure science fiction pulp with witty dialog and alien villains aplenty then you will not find this in this series. Stargate Universe is a drama series who happens to be placed on a spaceship, there is little which is similar to other Stargate products in this. To me it seams like the makers of Stargate saw how well Battlestar Galactica did and decided to try to jump on that bandwagon and they have done so with varying degree of luck.

The first few episodes for Stargate Universe is horrible, they are long drawn and boring with most of the three episode pilot being about trying to get limestone so they could get the CO2 scrubbers to start working again, if it had not been for having paid good money for the DVD set I would have stopped watching here, however luckily I stuck with the show as it do pick up further into the season. Now for those of you who might not know what...

With "Battlestar Galactica" all wrapped-up, I was hurting for more hard core sci-fi! "Caprica" filled that gap until the season ended. Then to my surprise a new Stargate adopted the hardcore egde! I know that some people will hate this but I cant get enough. SGU starts out a bit slow and I think that's great.

Early on the newly formed crew is desperately trying to find out where they are and what the hell happened! They learn that they're on a ship called Destiny very far away from earth. They must also find basic recources for survival but most of these people aren't trained SG military officers. Naturally lines are drawn and alliances are made. And like BSG and Caprica, no mercy is shown. There are military men and women with guns and more guns and there are civillians. They have no guns. Guess what happens when critcal life and death descisions need to be made and one side has guns and the other does not? Yeah - It gets ugly.

Beautiful and Disturbing
This series was created from actual case notes, manuscripts, diaries, papers and other ephemera done by and for the Royal London Hospital in Whitechapel. As a result it is a clear window into the history of the London and into the history of medicine. Heartwarming AND heartbreaking. Frequently disturbing and difficult to watch. Not softened by Hollywood but done in acid by British writers Colin Heber-Percy and Lyall B. Watson. The whole thing is brilliant - the acting, the sets, the costumes, the actors, the scripts... wonderful series!

You can also find it by the other names it was produced under: Casualty 1906, Casualty 1907 and Casualty 1909. Searches for `The London' frequently can't find it.

You can buy the 4 dvd set - Casualty 1900s - but only in region 2 so if you are in the US you will need a region free dvd player...

A masterpiece of acting, directing and film making.
As a registered nurse and a former student of a British hospital, nursing school in the 1960's, I could still relate to the some of the rules, the rigid expectations of the hospital Matron and the hard work. I feel it showed the impact that nurses had, even 100 years ago, on the lives of patients. The acting and the filming is amazing, true events dramatised so brilliantly it kept me on the edge of my seat. I wanted the series to last forever.

Excellent Show; wish there were more seasons!
NOTE: The American setup has 2 seasons, whereas the British divides it by year, calling it Casualty 1900s (1906,1907, and 1909).
ALL of the episodes are on Amazon Instant. I looked it up because I was desperate to watch "season 3" but there is none technically. American Season 1 is the british "Casualty 1906" (one episode) & "Casualty 1907" (3 episodes); American Season 2 is "Casualty 1909" (6 episodes). No further episodes were produced. I hope this clarifies and pacifies some viewers! Amazon is actually presenting here the whole series, which unfortunately, just ended abruptly.

This is a great BBC production with a good budget and a stellar ensemble cast. It was fascinating to see glimpses of many modern technological advances used here for "the first time" before the doctors are even fully aware of the dangers they can pose, or even how to fully use them! Person of Interest: The Complete First Season [Blu-ray]

PLEASE add to Instant Video~ Highly entertaining, intelligent thriller
"Person of Interest" is by far the best new drama on television this year, in my opinion. The writing and acting are top notch, and the characters of Finch (Michael Emerson) and Reese (Jim Caviezel) have great chemistry together. I was hooked from the very first episode, and I look forward to purchasing the DVD so I can rewatch the entire series again (without commercials). I really enjoy this show and look forward to watching every week, and I just hope that CBS recognizes that this show deserves to be renewed for another season (and many more).

JUST EDITED this review to add that I would LOVE to see "Person of Interest" added to the Amazon Instant Video Library. I would purchase the entire season AND also the DVD when it becomes available. This show is worth every penny, trust me.

Person Of Interest: Best New Show Of 2011
Person Of Interest is the best new show of 2011. If you liked the Equalizer, Burn Notice, and shows where people with special skills help and save the threatened, the indigent, and the underdog and where the bad guys get their comeuppance, and frequently permanent comeuppance, you will thoroughly enjoy Person Of Interest. Great show, and worth your time to watch.

Best drama of 2011 Season!
This show is excellent entertainment. Complex, complicated characters, good acting, and a premise of special individuals trying to save the innocent while staying anonymous! Similar to the original premise of Batman (or The Equalizer), these individuals risk arrest or death if they're caught, yet are compelled to make amends for past bad deeds by helping the innocent and punishing the evildoers.
Lets hope CBS recognizes just how well this story is done and keeps it around for more than one season.

Have a Plan
I want the doctor to be brilliant again; and arrogant, braggadocios, and really clever. The last few episodes he's been saved by luck, not his manic genius. I want the doctor back who says things like, "There's one thing you never put in a trap if you're smart, if you value your continued existence, if you have any plans about seeing tomorrow there's one thing you never ever put in a trap.....Me."

Bring the doctor back.

Still in love with the Doctor
I've read a lot of reviews where people are saying it has gone down hill, they're not too fond of the writing style, or that it's not true to what Doctor Who is suppose to be. However, while watching this season I was also re-watching first and second seasons. I feel this season is a lot truer to the season than it has been the last 2 seasons. The whole crack in the continuum of time, etc, the Rory and Amy drama (although I love them), how everything was so intrinsically tied together in the past that if you literally blink, you probably missed something was a little thrown out of proporition.

This season still had a continuing theme ("the impossible girl") that left viewers at the edge of the seat, but still allowed the Doctor and his companion to go on glorious adventures that I felt was starting to get lost with Rory and Amy. I give this season a huge thumbs up, and I'm extremely anxious to see where it goes.

This isn't really a factual review, so don't fault me on that.

I love Doctor Who, I love it in all of its regenerations over the years [except that movie *shudders*] yet the more I have watched with Moffat as the head writer the less I have liked it until I have reached now. I really can't place my finger on it, but nearly everything I love about Doctor Who has either vanished or is in some shadow form. I adore the Clara--she's brilliant. I thought that I would be loving the show more now that we have her. She's very much the traditional companion sort of character. However, it is like each episode leaves a sort of bad taste in my mouth. Whatever I came for I was not given. I realize that with rebooting everything back in '05 we have to be reintroduced to so many different people and introduced out of their own context [in this season, the Ice Warriors], but so much is lost with that. Idk, it still worked fairly well under Russel T Davis, not perfectly though...
